This workshop will be an exploration of numerous forms of surface design used in ceramics. Students will learn sgraffito, image transfer, slip trailing, mishima, and more! The different techniques will be practiced on tiles which will be clear glazed and fired once they dry, and then students can pick them up. These can then be used in installation with other tiles, or just as they are as trivets or coasters.

This class is well-suited for beginners.

Registration closes the Wednesday before class.
